CYCLE RIDE FROM DORCHESTER TO MORETON
Join Katy Murrell for a LETS Cycle Ride 5/10 miles to Moreton Tea Rooms! We will meet outside Thomas Hardy Pub in Dorchester – Alington Road DT1 2AB (on the B3144 out of Dorchester towards Wareham) at 11.30am.
The cycle ride is approx 5 miles each way- so approx 10 miles in total. We will take the cycle path and country lanes as much as possible. There is only one hill, with a moderate gradient. We will stop at Moreton Tea Rooms for approx one hour. There is an option to have a picnic by the nearby Foord or have lunch in the Tea Rooms. There is also a chance to see an interesting church and Lawrence of Arabia’s grave!
We advise the wearing of a helmet, carrying a mobile phone, puncture kit, pump and a bottle of water!
