Membership can be for Individuals, a Family or a Business.
There is currently an annual Individual/Family membership fee of £5.00 sterling per year (or £2.50 concessions + 3 Marts) to cover the costs of printed material and postage, plus events venue hiring etc or £8.00 for Businesses.
All members receive a by-monthly Newsletter by email (or post if prefered) and a Directory of Members and Services twice a year by post.
All new members start their account with 10 marts credit as a gift from LETS to get you started! There is then a charge of 6 Marts every six months (so 12 marts per year / 1 mart per month) which is automatically deducted from your LETS account. Membership is due for renewal every year before April 1st but new members who join on or after October 1st DO NOT have to renew again the next April but the year after (so effectively get up to 3 months FREE membership!).
How to Join our LETS
It’s simple to become a member of Dorchester & South Dorset LETS. Download the Application Form below and then post it to us when completed along with your payment by cheque as per the instructions on the form to the address provided.
Make sure you read our Members Agreement with A Guide to Using Your LETS which helps you understand and use LETS. You accept the Members Agreement when you join. In return for joining you get the latest local LETS Directory along with your cheque book and the latest newsletter. You can immediately start trading.

How to Renew Existing Membership
The next deadline for all existing member’s to renew membership is April 1st 2009 (including of course those of you who were late in paying renewals and so have only just renewed for 2008). New members who joined on or after October 1st 2008 DO NOT have to renew again until 2010 (so effectively get up to 3 months FREE membership!).
Early Bird Bonus!!!
If you make QUICK PAYMENT of your renewal fee BEFORE April we will add 3 Marts to your account as a thank you (effectively meaning you only pay 9 Marts instead of 12 per year – in the long run!).
Simply download the Renewal Form below and then post it to us when completed along with your payment by cheque as per the instructions on the form to the address provided.
