PICK YOUR OWN APPLES OFFERED!
You can come and pick them yourself fresh from our apple trees in central Dorchester, best now in September/October I think before they all fall off! There’s far too many for Stu and I and we have 2 different trees so one tree has COOKING APPLES and the other has EATING APPLES.
Marts are negotiable as we just don’t want them to go to waste like they usually do and we didn’t have much luck storing them in the shed last year!
Call Anna on (01305) 267854 or email info@annacelestewatson.com.

Flower Facts:
Worldwide, over 50 million roses are traded on Valentines Day.
Around 90% of the days flowers are bought by men.
34 million £ are spent on flowers at Valentines in the UK.
On this day there is a huge demand for this one product, in avery short timeframe, which inevitably causes supply problems.
Consequently higher prices than during the rest of the year.
Demand simply outstrips supply…
Contact LETS Florist Sabine Bale for Valentine flower orders (latest 9th February) on

Hi Cat
Do you do clothes alterations like taking in a waistband that is too big, or adding a dart to a dress? I am not looking for an ‘undetectable’ alteration ie unpicking all the seams and resweing them just a good enough job that’s not visible from the outside. I am between sizes and always end up having to take bits in – and its awkward to do on my own (the pinning) and I don’t really have time. I would like to pay Marts for it instead! ;-)

I would just like to post a big thank – you to Cat who made me a new credit card wallet, sewing machine cover and make up bag in wonderful retro fabrics from her selection. I love what she’s made me! She’s a very talented woman! Recommend if you want a sewed item which is not mass made. I saw some of her toys too, they’re fabulous and unique. Tess

Hi all, I’m a member of the local co-counselling group and we will be running a not-for-profit training course in co-counselling in January. This is a set of skills, and a network, for self-development and self-exploration. It aims to help you get more out of life, and often helps with confidence, relationships, and planning change that really works.
We are holding a free TASTER SESSION this Sunday, 28 November, from 2.30 to 4.30, UPSTAIRS at the Old Tea House, 44 High West Street, Dorchester (but please buy your own tea, to keep the tea house happy :)
You’re all welcome. You can also contact me on 01305 267758 or salcooke1@gmail.com for more information.
