I have a disabled friend living at West Moors. She desperately needs to join a local LETS group to get help with things I can’t do for her e.g., plumbing and chicken/cat minding and can offer skills such as needlework, cooking, embroidery (including badges), dressmaking, bespoke jewellery, even corsetry.
However she has been able to discover or make contact with a local group. Is there one? What are the contact details?
OR Is there anybody on the Dorchester LETS who could travel that far and attend to her blocked and leaky pipework?

Hi Corinne
My name is Michele Frances and I live in Colehill. I have already joined Martinstown as I have a friend in Dorchester who told me about a day event they were about to have there. I enjoyed it – fantastic. Would love to meet up and chat or maybe we start with emails. I give massage with or without Reiki. Also can help with Spanish and French classes – conversation.
Is that enough for now. Would love to find out how LETS is run, etc. Could possibly help out with Admin or day events.
All the best
Michele

Hi Vicky,
I’ve just been talking to one of the “Bridport Bag Ladies”. They crochet waste plastic carrier bags into useable shopping bags and other stuff – hats and covers for things etc.
I’m trying to sort out an event where they run a workshop to teach people how to crochet. It will probably be in the autumn time and through transition town dorchester – I think it might be £5 for a morning’s learning (though I may see if I can get some more home crafts teachers in and run a full day so people can learn more than one new skill
Does this sound interesting and if yes would you be interested in helping me organise it or shall I just save your name to contact when the time comes???
Best wishes
Linda

Does anyone have one they no longer need, or they could let me borrow/rent out for occasional talk I’m hoping to start giving soon on Nutrition and Health related topics.
Or know of a society which has one they no longer use?
Naturally must be in very good working order and made by a company which can still provide the spare bulb one can’t risk being without!
Thanks. Please ring me on 01305 251869 if you’ve any ideas.
